Panama City Parks
Here we will explore the wonderful Panama City Parks & Outdoor areas around town. If you enjoy walking, running, or just love being outside with nature, there are plenty of places you can go.
I had no idea there were so many different parks in the local area! There were many I had never visited before. As I get to each one and take photos and video, I will share them with you.
For most of these parks it is difficult to find detailed information and photos.

James R. Asbell Park is located on East Beach Drive and Caroline Boulevard. It's a dog friendly park with two different waterfront views! |

Carl Gray Park is located across from Gulf Coast Community College. It features a public boat ramp. |

Frank Nelson Park and ball field in panama city is the place for you if you play baseball or softball. |

Hentz Park is a good sized park in a quiet residential area. This park is great for young kids, because it features a nice playground area. |

Joe Moody Harris Park is located in the Millville section of Panama City. It is probably one of the city's best kept secrets. It features a boardwalk that meanders around a large lake. Check out our video we took there. |

Lannie Rowe Park is located in the Cove neighborhood of Panama City. It features long boardwalks meandering through lush tropical vegetation. |

McKenzie Park near Main Street in downtown Panama City is one of our favorite places. The park is great for walkers, close to shopping and restaurants and hosts several events during the year. |

Oaks By The Bay Park is located in historic downtown St. Andrews and home to the annual Jazz By The Bay concert series. |
