Panama City Music

Panama City Music comes in many different shapes, styles and flavors. We have many talented bands and musicians, some who play live at the various clubs and restaurants and some who have yet to be introduced to the general public. Let us introduce you tom some of our local talent!

	Angry Old Men are one of Panama City's original live bands. They have been quiet for awhile, but are BACK and performing some limited engagements. If you love good rock music with a wide variety of styles, you must check these guys out the next time they are playing. Keep checking our Events Calendar!
	Herd Of Turtles are one of the hardest rocking bands in the Panama City area. Oh yea, and they have a sexy female lead vocalist who can really SING!
	Norm Herrin is a local musician, composer and friend. Unfortunately he's not currently active on the local music scene, but he has been writing and producing some great music in his spare time.
	Lowell Hopper is a friend and local jazz guitarist/vocalist. He often plays at restaurants and lounges in the Panama City area.
	(the jerry riddle) is a band as mysterious as their name. Core member Chesley McTrusty promises to give me a bio or interview someday. Until then, visit his MySpace page.
	Matrixx otherwise known as Suzanne Stewart McDowell and Paul McDowell play an eclectic mix of jazz, R&B and other surprises.
	Lucky Mud is a duo I initially saw at the 2008 Panama City Florida Chinese New Year Festival and immediately became a fan of. Their music blends many different styles such as folk, country, blues and celtic.
	Slap Ruthie plays a variety of music ranging from family-style to alternative, specializing in "Rockin' Blues!" Out of Slap Ruthie is a duo called "Maximum Jones"--a perfect combo for smaller environments.
	Josh Weaver is a young, local, solo artist. He's a self taught guitar player and writes his own songs. In addition to music, he also writes short fiction and poetry.
